Egis TDR Series Dual Output Time Delay Relay 12V (2 x 80A)
TDR Series Dual Output Time Delay Relay 12V (2 x 80A)
This 12V dual-time relay can prevent dead batteries due to added equipment loads on after-engine stops or from multiple systems connected to a battery with an independent keep-alive power draw, maximizing operational readiness.
Applications:
- Supports on-board video systems when vehicles are not in use, allowing lengthy downloading while shutting down less time-sensitive equipment. sooner.
- Protects sensitive onboard electronics via optional under/over voltage shutdown and start event isolation.
Features:
- Eliminates vehicle downtime due to dead batteries; the lowest off-state current draw (1.3 mA) is available
- Simple and robust Installation - Sealed plug with optional long wire leads; Single device replaces multiple control units and high-amp replays reduce installation time, costs, and points of potential failure
- Additional low-amp output can be used to maintain 24-hour memory circuits or to direct other equipment to shut down
- Bullet-proof construction - Sealed unit and high-temperature materials allow mounting anywhere on the vehicle; Integrated thermal overload protection as well
- Meets stringent OEM standards for electrical transient self-protection
- Adjustable OFF Time Delay - 0 seconds to 4 hours
- Kill Switch control input option for ensuring loads are not inadvertently on, maintenance/servicing of vehicles, and emergency OFF
- Flexible control options via ignition key, alternator voltage sense, or both
- 4 Year Industry Leading Warranty
Specifications:
- Maximum Current: Continuous: 80 Amps DC per Output (160 A Total); Intermittent: 120 Amps DC (5 Minutes) per Output
- Off-State Current Draw: 1.5 mA (less than 1 Amp-hr battery dissipation per month of stand-by)
- Operating Specifications: Voltage: 12 Vdc Nominal (8 - 18 Vdc); Temperature: -40 to 85 degrees C
- Time Delay Options: 5 Sec through 4 hours via Dip Switches
- Environment Protection Standards: Waterproof to IP66. IP6K9K; Ignition Protected to ISO 8846
- Optional Features: Input stud voltage sense trigger for relay OFF; Under-voltage and over-voltage load protection
